| Egg Water Propeller Version 3 (in action)Fri, 09 Jan 2009 15:40:54 -0800 by spiritelementalMy version 3 egg water propeller is now done for the most part. Its very similar to my version 2 egg, but about twice as large and with a large permanent magnet inside of it. The version 2 egg had 4 slots carved into it that wound around that surface of the egg 2.5 times. The new version 3 egg has 4 slots carved into it, and each one runs around the egg 1.5 times. So each groove is of a steeper slope than in my older egg design. The new design is faster, more powerful and more effective, and uses a larger electric motor.I have it running at 4.5 volts from a 2 am DC power supply in the video. I also put some small pieces of cut tinfoil into the water to add effect. The version 3 egg is different than my older designs in a number of ways. It has a large and very powerful permanent magnet inside of it and a hollow tube for its shaft. Inside the egg are two wires. One is connected to the tip of the end of one side of the egg, and the other wire is connected to the other end of the egg. These wires run up the hollow shaft and will eventually be connected to metal contacts and a pair of brushes will be used to hopefully draw electricity from the egg. I havent finished building the contacts or brushes yet, but in a future video, I will show this and have the wires connected to a digital meter, so that we can all see if this egg will produce electricity or not. | TSRP2 Playthrough: 32: Venom Cave, Ruined Ruins SEFri, 09 Jan 2009 14:41:33 -0800 by pieguy1372This is the 32nd video in my playthrough of TSRP2, made by FPI Productions (finally). It shows Venom Cave and the secret exit of Ruined Ruins.I admit that I used savestates on the second part of Ruined Ruins, but only because the second part is very, very tedious. Jumping on slopes while enemies fly at you while dodging fireballs and baseballs is not exactly fair. Venom Cave went well though. Please comment, rate, and enjoy.
