| 5 02 GEN-AFri, 09 Jan 2009 17:27:22 -0800 by player43210First of all, the black PSP you see is a PHAT one and the white PSP is a slim.This time I'll be showing the features of 5.02 GEN-A to help those who are on the fence about updating to this (AWESOME) custom firmware.I was like you to until i decided to just suck it up and just do it.Turned out to possibly be the best move I made for the new year.For those of you who are afraid that certain plugins wont work, fret not.An unofficial CXMB has been ported to 5.02 GEN-A.Just convert your 5.00 ctf using a converter which is available on PSP hacks website.Hold+ 3.5 works fine in this firmware and 5.00 popsloader works just as well on this firmware for those who wanna play the classics.Here are the more useful features that are shown in this vid: 1) Hide MAC Address can be enabled via configuration in recovery. 2) VSH Recovery can now be opened with an option in the vshmenu. 3) You can quickly exit the recovery by pressing the Select button. 4) Option to reboot in to official firmware in the recovery, it will remain like this until the next cold reset. (Slim Only, support for the Phat PSP might be added later). 5) Slim Colors Patch by Bubbletune integrated; enable in the recovery and flash 13-27.bmp to your flash0.
