.22LR Vs .17HMR Vs 40mm of ice
Fri, 09 Jan 2009 15:25:14 -0800 by pondguru

Test between .22 and .17 rifles to see which damages solid ice most. The first shot is from a Ruger 10/22 firing a Winchester subsonic 40 grain hollow point at approx 1100 f.p.s. The second shot is from an Anchutz 5717 firing a Remmington supersonic 17 grain ballistic tip at approx. 2550 f.p.s. Both rifles fitter with sound moderators. In the name of science, I pronounce the .17 the winner.

New Family Study
Fri, 09 Jan 2009 15:20:13 -0800 by PAFamilyInstitute

A new study released by Pennsylvania Family Institute in conjunction with Family Research Council finds that children have fewer problems at school and home when they live with both biological parents and frequently attend religious services. Drs. Nicholas Zill and Philip Fletcher co-authored the new study which analyzes data from the National Survey of Childrens Health.Among their remarkable findings: children in this group are five times less likely to repeat a grade, less likely to have behavior problems at home and school, and are more likely to be cooperative and understanding of others feelings. Parents of these children report less stress, healthier parent-child relationships, and fewer concerns about their childrens achievement. These differences hold up even after controlling for family income and poverty, low parent education levels, and race and ethnicity.Pennsylvan ia ranks only slightly above the national average with respect to the percentage of children living in an intact married family, and slightly below the national average in the frequency of worship category.Michael Geer, President of Pennsylvania Family Institute, made the following statement regarding the studys findings:"This study once again shows that children in an intact, married family that worships together regularly are much less likely to experience behavioral problems, stress, unhealthy relationships and impaired educational achievement."Social science data consistently demonstrates that the intact, married family that worships weekly is a great benefit to society and the nation. Lawmakers must take this fact into consideration when creating public policy."For more info visit www.PAFamily.org

Close Encounters Of The Third Kind - Special Edition Trailer
Fri, 09 Jan 2009 15:03:44 -0800 by foxter65

Steven Spielberg followed Jaws (1975), his first major box-office success, with this epic science fiction adventure about a disparate group of people who attempt to contact alien intelligence. Roy Neary (Richard Dreyfuss) is an electrical lineman who, while sent out on emergency repairs, witnesses an unidentified flying object, and even has a "sunburn" from its bright lights to prove it. Neary's wife and children are at first skeptical, then concerned, and eventually fearful, as Roy refuses to accept a "logical" explanation for what he saw and is prepared to give up his job, his home, and his family to pursue the "truth" about UFOs. Neary's obsession eventually puts him in contact with others who've had close encounters with alien spacecraft, including Jillian (Melinda Dillon), a single mother whose son disappeared during her UFO experience, and Claude Lacombe (celebrated French filmmaker François Truffaut), a French researcher who believes that we can use a musical language to communicate with alien visitors. Lacombe's theory is put to the test when a band of government researchers and underground UFO enthusiasts (including Neary) join for an exchange with alien visitors near Devil's Tower, Wyoming. In 1980, a "Special Edition" was released. While its primary selling point was the addition of scenes inside the alien spaceship, Spielberg claimed that he also cleaned up some choppy editing in the second act.Richard Dreyfuss - Roy NearyFrançois Truffaut - Claude LacombeTeri Garr - Ronnie NearyMelinda Dillon - Jillian GuilerCary Guffey - Barry GuilerBob Balaban - David LaughlinJ. Direct Selling, MLM and Network Marketing Business
Fri, 09 Jan 2009 14:52:31 -0800 by DaveandDawnCook

http://home.earthlin k.net/~sunshineendea vors/http://dnahealt hsolutions.genefreed om.com http://mymonavie.com /dcookDave & Dawn Cook 941.932.1388Top economic experts such as Paul Zane Pilzer, Warren Buffett and Robert Kiyosaki all say that this industry is a preferred method for anyone wanting to achieve great wealth.Direct selling is a retail channel for the distribution of goods and services. At a basic level it may be defined as marketing and selling products, person-to-person away from a fixed retail location. Sales are typically made through party plan and other personal contact arrangements. A text book definition is: "The direct personal presentation, demonstration, and sale of products and services to consumers, usually in their homes or at their jobs."The industry is global and growing. Recent figures show almost fifty-five million people are involved and in 2007 it is estimated that worldwide retail sales accounted for more than US$111 Billion. At its best, direct selling can be an opportunity for individuals to find fulfillment, express their entrepreneurial talents and gain financial independence. At its worst, it can become a kind of pyramid scheme. Some direct selling associations have given themselves codes of conduct which lead to a fair partnership both with customers and salesmen. Most of the national direct selling associations are represented in the World Federation of Direct Selling Associations (WFDSA).Direct Selling is distinct from Direct Marketing because it is about individual sales agents reaching and dealing directly with clients. Direct Marketing is about business organizations seeking a relationship with their customers without going through an agent/consultant or retail oulet.
