| Ilminster Bus CrashFri, 09 Jan 2009 13:47:25 -0800 by orangepuffafishPLEASE READ: On the frosty, cold morning of 9th January 2009, a Wadham School Bus crashed into a house in Herne Rise, Ilminster. It was broadcast on Regional news on both BBC1 and ITV1, and was a pretty big event.Luckily none of the 23 students (or the bus driver) were seriously hurt, only a bump to the head and a split lip. Police have temporairly closed the road, and the road will now be gritted.NOTE:The house is extremely unstable, though the bus has been removed the house may need to be demolished. | Red Alert 2/ Yuri's Revenge: Fixing missing TextFri, 09 Jan 2009 13:08:12 -0800 by WARDEATHFUNDownload the program here: http://dashboard.fil efront.com/WARDEATHF UNand download the Missing text fixer program.Though this only works if you are doing a mod (sorry map modders) Its still great thing to use. What you do is first get your hands on a RA2.CSF file (Or RA2MD.CSF for Yuri's revenge) and open it up with this program. When you download the file and open up the .Zip folder.... make sure you read the readme it has inside it. He did a good job putting this program up together for all of us, all he ask is to read the readme. After done reading the readme file, Open up the Program named "RA2StrEdit" and then it will open up a little window. Select Open in file above and open up a .CSF file, this zip comes with an english version already (if you need another one, then you will need to extract one of your own from your game). Once its done loading, You might wanna go through them and get an idea what you are going todo. All you do really is make up some random text. I wanted to name a tank of mine "New Tank" so I went in my Rules.ini and looked for HTNK (i did not make a new tank yet :p) and I went to the tag "UIName=" tag and changed it. I put down "UIName=Name:LOL" and then went inside the CSF reading program and made a section named that. To do that, you need to go upto "EDIT" and select "INSERT STRING" and then a small window pops up. Change the above text in the bar from its example text to whatever you placed after UIName= and done... Since in my rules.ini i placed down "Name:LOL" i put in that spot "Name:LOL" and done. Now we will look for that string we made and change what it says ingame. We look at the side where all the others are, and look through the ABC ordered names and find ours we just made. Eventually you will find it and once you do, select it and then you will see new information on the side. Change the big white area to whatever text you wish, and done. Now Save the program, and click ok with the text window that pops-up and enjoy. Before you get excited and think your done, make sure you rename the CSF file to RA2.CSF (or RA2MD.CSF for Yuri's Revenge) and then place it in your RA2 Folder. Thats it, you made your first units name! check it out ingame to see if it actually worked, if it didnt, then the odds are you did a simple typo in either rules.ini (or Rulesmd.ini) or you did the typo in the string editor program. If there is no typos, then it should appear how you desired it ingame. This is a great program for it can do allot more, not just names! For an example, lets say you made a multiplayer mode and went inside the MPModes.ini file and wish to make a description, well, where the others says "STT:" is what says the description, simply make whatever name you desire with this great program! I love you all so much, When I see you comment saying you like the story it makes me feel really happy. SO, I have a deal to make with you. I have midterms in two weeks. I don't think I'll be able to post much that week. I will try my best, but you all know how school is. So, if you can give me 10-15 comments on this story, or any others I may post after this, and get me 50 legit subscribers who'll read my story, I'll give you a marathon. Here's the thing. The day of the last midterm is friday the 23rd, I think. I have only one midterm, so I'll be home by about 10. SO I'll have all day to post for you guys. So if you can get me 50 OR MORE LEGIT subbers and 10-15 comments, you can have a marathon. OH AND YOU CAN CHOOSE THE STORY. It'll b about 5-6 maybe more chapters. depends on time and what you give me. I love you guys all so much, but I would like to have some more readers. and more COMMENTS! haha. ok now,2. He sniffed. "Well, do you want to go on a walk? I've seen this movie so many times, it doesn't get to me anymore.""Ok, sure.""Guys, we're gunna go on a walk." Amanda told Kevin and Kristen."Ok, keep ur phone on you." Kristen said. Joe and Amanda walked out. They went through the garage and Amanda grabbed a soccer ball. "Where are we gunna go?" It is similar in configuration to the B-1 Lancer but is significantly faster than the B-1B at altitude with reportedly greater range and payload capacity.Entered service in 1987 with the 184 Guards Bomber Regiment, based at Priluki, Ukraine[1], the Tu-160 was the last strategic bomber designed by the Soviet Union but remains in production, with at least 16 currently in service with the Russian Air Force.Pilots of the Tu-160 call it the White Swan, due to its maneuverability and antiflash white finish.[2]Although several civil and military transport aircraft are bigger, the Tu-160 has the greatest total thrust, and the heaviest takeoff weight of any combat aircraft, and the highest top speed as well as one of the largest payloads of any current heavy bomber.The Tu-160 bears some resemblance to the North American Rockwell B-1A Lancer, although it is significantly larger and has greater range. The Blackjack has a blended wing profile and variable-geometry wings, with sweep selectable from 20° to 65°. Full-span slats are used on the leading edges, with double-slotted flaps on the trailing edges. The Tu-160 has a fly-by-wire control system.It is powered by four Kuznetsov NK-321 afterburning turbofan engines, the most powerful ever fitted to a combat aircraft. Unlike the B-1B, which abandoned the Mach 2+ requirement of the original B-1A, it retains variable intakes, and is capable of reaching speeds slightly higher than Mach 2 at altitude.The Tu-160 is equipped with a probe and drogue in-flight refueling system for extended-range missions, although it is rarely used. The Tu-160's massive internal fuel capacity of 130 tons gives the aircraft a roughly 15-hour flight endurance at a cruise speed of around 530 mph (850 km/h, Mach 0.77) at 30,000 ft (9,145 m).[3]Although the Tu-160 was designed for reduced detectability to both radar and infrared, it is not a stealth aircraft. Russian sources claim that it has a smaller radar cross section (RCS) than the B-1B.[citation needed] Nevertheless, on 25 April 2006 Commander Igor Khvorov claimed that Tu-160s had managed to penetrate the US Arctic zone undetected, leading to a NATO investigation.[4] [5][6]The Tu-160 has an Obzor-K attack radar in a slightly upturned dielectric radome, and a separate "Sopka" terrain-following radar, which provides fully automatic terrain-following flight at low altitude. The Tu-160 has an electro-optical bombsight. There is no HUD, nor are CRT multi-function displays provided in the original aircraft; however, plans for modernization of all Tu-160s were announced in 2003. They include a new digital flight control system, and the ability to carry new weapon types, such as new non-nuclear long-range cruise missiles.Weapons are carried in two internal bays, each capable of holding 20,000 kg (44,400 lb) of free-fall weapons or a rotary launcher for nuclear missiles; additional missiles may also be carried externally. The aircraft's payload capacity is 45,000kg, making it the heaviest bomber ever built. However no defensive weapons are provided; the Tu-160 is the first unarmed post-World War II Soviet bomber.A demilitarized, commercial version of the Tu-160, dubbed Tu-160SK, was displayed at Asian Aerospace in Singapore in 1994 with a model of a small space vehicle named Burlak attached underneath the fuselage. In 1995 Tupolev announced a partnership with the German firm OHB-System to produce the aircraft as a carrier for the launch vehicle; the German government subsequently withdrew funding in 1998.
