| Miley Can Build A Big Blue Wall {PREVIEW} [plz, plz read desc]Fri, 09 Jan 2009 15:48:03 -0800 by TeamEveryone1991I love this song and was waiting to make a video to it and then I watched a video by JonasRmyStudmuffins to the song lucky by Britney Spears and that video gave me this idea.--------------- -------------------- --This is just a preview if you like it i'll try and finish it sooner than the 2 weeks--------------- -------------------S tory:The start with all the Miley Cyrus interview introductions shows how popular and in demand Miley is and shows that she is constantly busy. The bit where all the fans are talking about Miley shows how well thought off she is by the public and that she is a role model for many people and they look up to her. This shows the pressure she is under to be happy and smiley all the time. This is when it goes into the song which shows that even though she is all this and people expect her to be happy all the time she is still human and can feel down and sad sometimes especially when she can't live up to all expectations and she makes mistakes. (the bit with the crowd when it the song goes "Leave it up to you to prove me wrong" is to show that she counts on her fans to be there for her and understand when she can't be the happy person all the time and hope that they still support her.---------------- -------------Link to JonasRmyStudmuffins video (watch it it's really good)http://www.yout ube.com/watch?v=trzh k8xDgYs------------- -------------------- -Song : Big Blue WallArtist : Agnes CarlssonAlbum : Dance Love Pop----------------- --------I'm dedicating this to xStruckxByxLove as she gave me 3rd place in her competition and she made me an awesome Robert Pattinson background (it's not up just now but it'll be back up soon :) ). And she also makes the MOST AWESOME videos on youtube :) Related: miley cyrus big blue wall agnes carlsson xstruckxbyxlove | |

| Kit's Top Fave ThemesFri, 09 Jan 2009 15:33:30 -0800 by KitMishimaMy favorite character, field, and battle themes. Atleast, all I can think of. I would add opening themes, but they're too long. :3Yeah, anything involving Tales sprites were all screwed around with by me. I do alot of sprite work featuring my own custom made sprite and un-editted Tales sprites.I did use to play Ragnarok Online on the Iris server. My player name was Keelu and was a steadfast loyal member of Deadly Secrets. But after one guildmate told me what half REALLY thought of me in public chat in a populated spot in Prontera...I stayed with them for alittle longer, got fed up, then left. | Learning your gay history part 1Fri, 09 Jan 2009 15:22:53 -0800 by SabrinaBrownSMBWe could all learn together.......His life changed history. His courage changed lives. In 1977, Harvey Milk was elected to the San Francisco Board of Supervisors, becoming the first openly gay man to be voted into public office in America. His victory was not just a victory for gay rights; he forged coalitions across the political spectrum. From senior citizens to union workers, Harvey Milk changed the very nature of what it means to be a fighter for human rights and became, before his untimely death in 1978, a hero for all Americans. Milk charts the last eight years of Harvey Milk's life. While living in New York City, he turns 40. Looking for more purpose, Milk and his lover Scott Smith relocate to San Francisco, where they found a small business, Castro Camera, in the heart of a working-class neighborhood. With his beloved Castro neighborhood and beautiful city empowering him, Milk surprises Scott and himself by becoming an outspoken agent for change. With vitalizing support from Scott and from new friends like young activist Cleve Jones, Milk plunges headfirst into the choppy waters of politics. Bolstering his public profile with humor, Milk's actions speak even louder than his gift-of-gab words. When Milk is elected supervisor for the newly zoned District 5, he tries to coordinate his efforts with those of another newly elected supervisor, Dan White. But as White and Milk's political agendas increasingly diverge, their personal destinies tragically converge. Milk's platform was and is one of hope--a hero's legacy that resonates in the here and now. | New Family StudyFri, 09 Jan 2009 15:20:13 -0800 by PAFamilyInstituteA new study released by Pennsylvania Family Institute in conjunction with Family Research Council finds that children have fewer problems at school and home when they live with both biological parents and frequently attend religious services. Drs. Nicholas Zill and Philip Fletcher co-authored the new study which analyzes data from the National Survey of Childrens Health.Among their remarkable findings: children in this group are five times less likely to repeat a grade, less likely to have behavior problems at home and school, and are more likely to be cooperative and understanding of others feelings. Parents of these children report less stress, healthier parent-child relationships, and fewer concerns about their childrens achievement. These differences hold up even after controlling for family income and poverty, low parent education levels, and race and ethnicity.Pennsylvan ia ranks only slightly above the national average with respect to the percentage of children living in an intact married family, and slightly below the national average in the frequency of worship category.Michael Geer, President of Pennsylvania Family Institute, made the following statement regarding the studys findings:"This study once again shows that children in an intact, married family that worships together regularly are much less likely to experience behavioral problems, stress, unhealthy relationships and impaired educational achievement."Social science data consistently demonstrates that the intact, married family that worships weekly is a great benefit to society and the nation. Lawmakers must take this fact into consideration when creating public policy."For more info visit www.PAFamily.org Related: pennsylvania pa family institute michael geer marriage children parents study values harrisburg new years | |
