A week had gone past, and Demi spent most of it hanging out with Joe. ? While Joe was also spending a lot of time with both Demi and Miley and he was starting to like them both too. Then one day, he told them how he felt. Ashley didnt care much, but Demi got a bit annoyed, and Miley seemed to start to hate him. ? Saturday came, and Demi was walking through town. Noticing a bench, she sat down to rest for a second. Suddenly, she thought she saw Joe and Miley nearby. She got closer to see if it really was them. And it was ? She saw them holding hands and watched as he kissed her. Demi felt hurt, so she just walked home, trying to forget about what she had seen. A little while later, Joe showed up at Demis house, wanting to take her to the beach. ? For some reason, even after knowing what he'd done earlier, she went with him. So there they were, Demi and Joe, hanging out on the beach. They went swimming, talked about other things, and actually managed to have a lot of fun.. Later, while they watched the sunset sink into the horizon, Joe seemed to get a bit more serious when he asked her something. Joe: "Um, Demi..?" Demi: "Yeah..?" Joe: "I was wondering.. if you.." Demi: "Yea?" Joe: "If you wanted to be my girlfriend?" Demi: "Ooh... Joe... well, you're really nice.. but what about Ashley?" Joe: "She wouldnt have to know! Plus, theres a difference... So its not even technically cheating or anything.." Demi: "Joe! C'mon... seriously... not to mention that shes my *friend* and I couldnt do that to her" Joe: "Well, she wouldnt care anyways.." That was dumb. But I really knew it was because they were barely making it work money-wise. There was no way only one of them could work.I always hung out here during the school year, I barely ever went home. So now it was summer, and I spent all day here, doing absolutely nothing. I didn't want to go home. It was living hell over there. I turned my head and saw anna's phone on the bed-side table. I laughed to myself and went through it. She wouldn't mind, and I just wanted to see if she was serious about Joe Jonas calling. And if she was, maybe I could ask him something...There was one unknown caller under her call log and I pressed it. Why not? It was probably just some guy asking for a donation for a charity or something. Harmless. Then someone picked up the phone. It was a guy.. but I was sure after a second that he hadn't called earlier just to ask for a donation.???: Hello?"Hi.. who is this?"???: .. who's this?( I decided right away to lie. I'm not sure why. The Norwegian Star runs smooth as silk and in a little more than one hour, we stood on shore.Run the gauntlet of salespeople offering parasailing, snorkeling, fishing, glass bottom boats and then the sellers of hats, pottery, holding iguanas to pose with. Never ending and vibrant. The nearest beach is lengthy walk away or take a water taxi for $4 U.S. per person. With less than five hours in port, our family crew was content to just shop for souvenirs, tender back to the ship and hang out by the pool.
