I just stared at her."What?" She saked"Your kidding." I said shocked."What,, my clothes?? This is how I always dress" She said to me."Not anymore" I said. I grabbed her hand and dragged her up my steps into my room."Your room is huge" She said in awe."Yeah yeah yeah,, whats your favorite color??" I asked her."Purple. Why??""Tank top,, halter,,tube top,, or Cami?" I asked her."Tank top." She said quickly."You dont know what a tube top is,, do you??" I asked. This girl was clueless."No,, why?""Becuase you would look SO HAWT in a tube top!" I said. And I knew what I was talking about. I mean,,whos the fashion expert here anyway??"Ok,, fine,,whatever you say." I handed her my purple tube top and she slid it on. She liked how it looked on her."I love it." She said shyly."Coolness" She was already wearing Jeans."Now,, Shoes" I said. "Ever wear heels?""No."She said flatly."Ok." I handed her purple wedges. Shes not ready for pumps yet. We'll work up to that. She slid off her converse and put on the wedges."Now,," I said "Walk in them"We spent about 15 minutes just practicing walking in them. Afterwards,, I did her hair and makeup. She had nice hair,, but no one would know becuase she always had it up in a ponytail. I straightened it and put black eyeliner on her with purple eyeshadow. When she looked in my mirror,, she smiled so wide,, I swear it was gonna get stuck that way."You like?" I said."I love" She replied,, still smiling."Phase one,, complete. Now for phase two.""I cant do it Brooke. What if he hates me??" She said."He wont,, I promise. Come on. there expecting us any minute"[[I took Cassie downsatirs, of course holding her while walking down the stairs. walked her next door and walked right on in knowing Nick or Nick and Joe were only home.]]"NICK!!!!" I yelled. "Lets get th-" Nick stopped talkng when he layed eyes on Cassie. The NEW Cassie. "are you sure you brought Cassie?" Nick said and smiled.Cassie looked down and blushed. "Look at him" I whispered to Cassie. She lifted her head to Nick Jonas inches from her face. I stepped back a little and bumped into someone. I turned around to see......"KEVIN!!" I yelled in excitement. I hugged him tight. "hey.....Brooke" Kevin said confused. I pulled away smiling. "it was nice seeing you Brooke."Kevin awkwardly said and left through the front door.I looked back over and Nick and Cassie. and WHAD'YA NO. There making out. Nick has the tendncey to do that with girls. I rolled my eyes. "have fun" I quietly said and opened the front door. I then sacked my head off something hard. "ooooo" I groans and squeezed my eyes shut and held my head."Ow sorry Brooke" I heard that Sweet, and hott voice of Joe say. I opened my eyes and saw his. "its fine Joe" I said back."What are you doing here?" Joe asked. "OH I set Nick up with my new tutor" I explained."oo" he simply said. "You wanna come over? I have food " I bribed. He laughed, "sure"Me and him walked over to my house. I opened the door and asked, "you want a drink?""Sure. Redbull. Top shelf in your fridge."I loved how he knew every aspect of my kitchen. It was cute,, in a stalker kinda way. I grabbed two redbull and walked back into my livingroom. I handed him his redbull and sat next to him on the couch."So..Movie??" He asked,, smiling at me.Ok. Movies and All Nighters. This was going too far. I mean,, what if my friends found out?? Id be RUINED!! I cant start liking him again. But hes making it SO HARD NOT TOO!! Damn him and his boyish charm."Sure." I smiled. "Your pick.""Ok but if you dont wanna watch it let me know ok?" He said.Again. | ReAwakening Scotland February 20th/21st 2009Wed, 07 Jan 2009 07:02:17 -0800 by reawakeningscotlandWe believe that a ReAwakening of the church in Scotland and of Scotland as a whole, all peoples, should be the goal of all believers that desire to see the Kingdom of God advanced in this nation.We know that these ReAwakenings have happened here before, both in Scotland and in the UK. Historically, these times were marked by:1.People, or groups of people, who called their generation back to a foundation of biblical truth. To becoming a people who were centred on the word and lived it out.2.A burden of intercessory prayer which led to groups of believers interceding for their peers, generation, and nation to return or turn to Jesus in belief and repentance.3.The church refocusing on the mission of Jesus to such and extent that thousands were saved.The prominent men and women at the centre of these movements of God were sensitive to His calling and were marked by obedience. For it is clear that in order for a ReAwakening to occur, it requires a movement of God's spirit on a huge scale, both convicting and bringing repentance, leading to a people who are committed to following Jesus no matter the cost.So what is the ReAwakening conference all about?Knowing what we do about past ReAwakenings, we are looking to lay a foundation for a Reawakening in Scotland. No one movement, church or conference can do this in isolation but we look to be part of the picture of what God is doing to prepare this nation for a ReAwakening.With that in mind, we are running the ReAwakening conference on 21st February 2009 in order to reach young and future church leaders within the student generation. It is essentially a one-day conference with a free Friday evening session (20th February). There will be 3 main sessions focussing on the three points highlighted above, The Word, Intercessory Prayer and Mission, as well as being a people of holy character. We have some great speakers including Brian Ingraham and Hugh Halter a world authority on reforming how the Church (globally) approaches mission, and author of The Tangible Kingdom (http://www.tangible kingdom.com/)We hope to spell out clearly what it will take to be a people who are ready to do our part in bringing about a ReAwakening in Scotland, and to pray with perseverance for God to move in a way that we have never seen in our lifetime.
