| Kill Hannah "She's Looking at the Stars" Unofficial, Fan-made Music VideoWed, 07 Jan 2009 16:10:40 -0800 by LadyMadaileinI took a film appreciation class for the first semester of my junior year, and at the end we had to take everything we learned and make our own little movie. Since I'm not clever enough to come up with my own stuff, I decided to make a music video for a song by Kill Hannah. "The Chase" was my first choice, but due to some difficulties with the plot, we decided to ax it. I kicked around the idea of doing "Nerve Gas," too, but that also got shot down. So, I ended up settling on "She's Looking at the Stars," a somewhat older song that I stumbled upon one morning while listening to my iPod on the bus. Now, before you say anything, I know this is very much less than perfect, from the nine seconds of nothingness in the beginning, to the somewhat long camera shots, and the picture of the stars that looks more like someone sneezed on the screen. However, taking into account all the little delays and setbacks I was presented with in editing, I'm pretty pleased with the way it turned out. Plus, I'm really really really really really grateful to my friends for acting in this and helping me out, since I probably would've done something rash if I had to go at this alone. Not to make this sound schmaltzy or anything, but I would like to give a little dedication/special thanks/call it what you will to the four other people in this video with me, Jenna, Kirstie, Gian, and Gia, as well as the fans, crew, and members of Kill Hannah. I probably wouldn't have had the will to bother finishing this if it wasn't for all of you.To anyone who watches this video, I hope you get some kind of enjoyment out of it, or at least something.
