| Pottenstein: Lichterfest 2009 - "Alleluia, epiphaniam Domini" (traditional gregorian chant)Wed, 07 Jan 2009 06:43:50 -0800 by prosepp(english blow)aus alter Tradition findet in Pottenstein am "Festtag der Erscheinung des Herrn (Epiphanias Domini), auch bekannt als Dreikönigsfest, der Tag der "immerwährenden Anbetung" statt, die mit einer eucharistischen Prozession durch den Ort endet.Anlässlich dieser Prozession werden die Berghänge rund um Pottenstein mit hunderten von Holzfeuern erhellt, als sichtbares Zeichen für das göttliche Licht, das in Jesus Christus zu uns Menschen in die Finsternis dieser Welt gekommen ist.
