| I Never Thought I'd Catch THIS Lovebug... (A Nick Jonas Love Story) Chapter 18 -part one-Wed, 07 Jan 2009 15:05:59 -0800 by jobromance312Chapter 18(: I just nodded again, giving him permission to walk me out. I felt the cold air hit my face as soon as we left the building. It felt good, refreshing. We drove home in silence, which I didnt mind. I needed time to think...Nick left after he dropped me off; I asked him to. He knew I was hurting and thinking, and I loved that he could just let me be alone with my thoughts. Wednesday flew by. Nick picked me up for school, but that was the main time we spoke. I hoped he knew I wasn't mad at him; I just had a lot to think about. Our first volleyball game was tomorrow, neither of my parents were going to be there... I could only hope Carter would come. At lunch I asked Nick if he wanted to come over after school, and he did. We hung out from after school til late at night, just talking and being together. We watched Disturbia (AN: another good one folks) and 27 Dresses (AN: amazingg), and then we walked out to the backyard. We walked out to the trampoline; but it was dark and cold, so we agreed on just laying and looking at the stars. It was pretty much a movie moment, and during that time with him I couldn't think of any of my troubles. We looked at the stars for who knows how long. He ended up giving me his jacket; it was like fourty degrees outside. When it got close to 10 ocklock, we walked back inside. "Thanks for coming over.." I said."You're welcome.""Sorry I'm not very entertainging though." I said, laughing."I don't care what I'm doing; as long as I'm with you." he answered, giving me a light kiss on the lips. "But I gotta go study; I'll see you tomorrow.""Love you.""You too." I went upstairs and took a long shower. Then I studied til I fell asleep. *Thursday Morning*I was hyped when I woke up Thursday morning. I couldn't wait for the game; I didn't care who was going to be there. Our team was expected to be one of the best in the league this year, and I didn't doubt it. The only problem was that Miley was on the team, but I was pretty sure she had moved on from Nick by now... or at least I hoped. Amy was also on the team, but it was way easier to ignore her. Nick picked me up again, as my mom and brother still hadn't returned. They had called a couple times yesterday, but I was still concerned. They sounded fine on the phone, though. School flew by, which was different, especially for a game day. I was thankful, though, and as soon as school ended I ran to the locker room to change out. "There you are..." Nick said, as I walked out of the locker room. "All ready for the game?" "YES! But middle school plays first.. that game is going to be soo boring.""Well, then why don't we go get some milkshakes or something?""Okay, but just Sonic this time... Andy's takes too long and coach said we had to be at the school at 3:45.""Sounds good." We drove to Sonic, talking the whole way there. I felt way better today; like every burden had been lifted off my shoulder for some reason. At Sonic, I ordered a strawberry smoothie, and Nick decided he didn't want anything. I didn't push this time; I could tell he wasn't hungry. When we got back to school, Amy and Miley were waiting for me by the locker room.
