Related: telersat nota salud | |

| A Tour Of Poor Dayton - The End of GM in DaytonMon, 22 Dec 2008 16:04:52 -0800 by MrBrianBeachThis will be posted on both profiles.http://yout ube.com/LILVOKAhttp: //youtube.com/MrBria nBeachIn a devastating blow to the Dayton metropolitan area, General Motors Truck and Bus Facility is closing officially. The date slated for December 23, 2008, two days before Christmas.Local businesses are bracing for the impact.Governor Ted Strickland, Democrat, offered $60 million to keep GM in Dayton. GM turned it down. Even the lawmakers assisted in keeping GM in Dayton. They included Representative Mike Turner, Republican, Ohio Senators George Voinovich, Republican and Sherrod Brown, Democrat. The local mayors of Kettering, Moraine and Dayton were hoping they can delay the inevitable. But time has come.In the beginning, there were 40,000 jobs at GM, then 18,000. At last check almost a tenth of workers (less than 1,800) are going to be out of jobs.GM, Chrysler and Ford got a $17.5 billion dollar bailout from The Bush Administration. President Bush and President Obama both warn that if the automakers can't figure out a solution, they lose the loan.Corporate executives had to lose the private jets and stock in order to gain some money.Republican Senator Richard Selby of Alabama is very critical of this decision to bailout the automakers. What the Bush administration offered was a Band-Aid to a gun shot wound! For the conservatives watching, don't blame the unions for the GM closing. This is not the fault of any union, CEO, manager or employee.Times are hard for everyone, and the worst is yet to come. FAQ- The reason why I call this a Tour of Poor Dayton is because of the area's declining population, jobs, boarded homes, business closings and economic turmoil in Montgomery, Miami and Greene Counties. And most likely Ohio in general. I have a reason for the title. If you have concerns, send me a message. So that will put to rest any questions of why I titled the videos! *Note: The disclaimer above is also a reminder to those who just view and not understand still why I post these videos. Thanks for viewing. Thank all the supporters of my videos. To all critics and those who blindly trust the media! Turn that television, radio and internet smear machine off. Let real media analysis do the work for you. I am not a fact-checker, journalist or media analysis. I am expressing an honest opinion about whats going on in my community, the government and the corrupt mainstream media. And as always, if present any errors in the making of this video, please don't hesitate to send a message and I will correct the record on the next video. For all the critics watching worldwide!
