| Max Boehner " This land is your land"Wed, 07 Jan 2009 07:34:38 -0800 by maxboehnerHowdy Folks! This song was made famous by Woody Guthrie (he wrote it in 1940 using the Carter Family's melody "When the world's on fire" which is also similar to "Little Darling, Pal of Mine")...He recorded it first in 1944. I recorded it 64 years later (Dec. 2008).I guess it often happened composers used same melodies like "Great Speckled Bird", "It was God who made Honky Tonk Angels", "Thinking tonight of my blue eyes", and "The Wild Side of Life"... all have almost the same melody.-Hope you like my version.myspace.com/ maxboehnernice comments are appreciated, thx, Max Boehner Related: boehner this land is your woody guthrie folk country song jazz guitar revival festival |

A TRIBUTE TO THE BRAVE FINNISH AND RUSSIAN SOLDIERS THEY DESERVE RESPECT A iddqd film we made this movie very late so it was going to get dark in any minut Finska vinterkriget (finska Talvisota, ryska ?????? November 1939 das Nachbarland an.The Winter War (Finnish: Talvisota, Russian: ????????-??????????? ????? - official, ?????? ?????- unofficial[10], Swedish: Vinterkriget) began when the Soviet Union led by Joseph Stalin attacked Finland on November 30, 1939, three months after the invasion of Poland by Germany that started World War II. Because the attack was judged as illegal, the Soviet Union was expelled from the League of Nations on December 14 Related: jatka sotilas talvisota ?????? ????? finska vinterkriget ww2 hobby film world war der winterkrieg |

| 'Til We Meet Again - Original Trailer 1940Wed, 07 Jan 2009 02:50:32 -0800 by foxter65'Til We Meet Again is an inflated remake of 1932's One Way Passage. As in the original, the hero is a convicted murderer en route to the death house by way of a merchant ship; the heroine is suffering from a terminal illness. Once more, hero and heroine fall in love, each keeping the facts of his or her imminent doom from the other. The principal difference this time is that instead of William Powell and Kay Francis, the stars are George Brent and Merle Oberon. This cast change does no damage to the basic storyline, but the decision in 'Til We Meet Again to expand upon the secondary romance between the arresting detective (Pat O'Brien) and an accomplice of the condemned man (Geraldine Fitzgerald) throws the focus of the film completely out of kilter. One decided benefit to both One Way Passage and 'Til We Meet Again is the comic presence of Frank McHugh, who plays the same role--a tipsy pickpocket--in both pictures.Merle Oberon - Joan AmesGeorge Brent - Dan HardestyPat O'Brien - Steve BurkeGeraldine Fitzgerald - Bonnie CoburnBinnie Barnes - Countess de VaubertFrank McHugh - Achilles PeddicordEric Blore - Sir Harold LandamuirHenry O'Neill - Dr. CameronGeorge Reeves - Jimmy CoburnFrank Wilcox - Frank, Assistant PurserDoris Lloyd - Louise, maidMarjorie Gateson - Mrs. HesterRegis Toomey - FreddyWilliam Halligan - BartenderWade Boteler - Captain StoddardMary Anderson - GirlHal Brazeale - LemmyNat Carr - Assistant PurserRobert Elliott - DetectiveBess Flowers - PassengerChester Gan - Hong Kong policemanSol (Saul) Gorss - SailorWilliam Gould - Chief of PoliceGrace Hayle - Fussy Woman PassengerRobert E.
