YAH! :) Now...what is it that Addison wants Nick to feel?_______________ _________Nick's POV:We both sat up and then Addison grabbed my hand. She put my hand on her chest so that I could feel her heart beat. Her heart was going wild. Did I really make her heart do that? I felt elated that she had the same feelings that I did. Even the beat of our hearts were in sync.Addison: my heart only does this when I am around you."I have another secret..." I said as I grabbed her other hand, the one that was not holding mine in place on her chest.Addison's POV:Nick grabbed my free hand and put it on his chest. I was shocked as I felt the same familiar beat. His heart was beating as quickly as mine was. Then Nick finished his sentence.Nick: my heart does the same thing when I'm around you. We sat in that position for a minute, each one of us listening to the others heart. I knew one thing for sure... Nick had moved back into my heart and he was going to stay there forever.Regular POV:They were both in the same position when Mrs. Grace came into Addison's room. I blinked a couple of times and then I looked down. There was Addison, lying on my chest. OMG! It wasn't a dream! I didn't think that that happened last night. I had had so many dreams about Addison and I being together before that I actually thought that this was just another one. But this was no dream. The girl that I loved was lying in my arms and I never wanted that to change as long as I lived. While I was deep in thought I felt Addison stir beside me. We had woken up face to face before, but never as more than just friends. I knew that this time was going to be different. I watched as she slowly opened her eyes and looked up to meet my gaze.Addison: that actually happened? (She asked me sleepily) I didn't just dream that?"It was real Addie." I smiled at her. Addison: good, because that would have been awful if I had just dreamed that!"I know how you feel." I laughed. So I really loved all of your comments on the last chapter! So let's get straight to the story...Nick and Addison admitted they loved each other...____________ _______________Addis on: what does this mean?Nick: I think this means that we aren't just friends anymore. (They both laughed)Nick leaned over and put one of his hands on the small of her back and the other on her neck. Slowly, he brought his lips to meet with hers. It was a kiss that expressed all of their feelings toward each other. It was pure and passionate and filled with love. Addison put her hands in Nicks hair and smiled, which Nick felt on his lips. They both pulled away and smiled uncontrollably. Then they heard applause coming from Nick's room. They looked up and saw Joe, Lola, and Kevin clapping and laughing.Kevin: go Nick!Lola: woo- hoo Addie!Joe: FINALLY!Nick: can we get some privacy over here?! (Nick laughed)Joe: why? So you can KISS (he made kissing sounds) some more?Addison leaned over to Nick unexpextedly and gave him a kiss. Joe, Lola, and Kevin cheered. Addison and Nick kept kissing and then Nick gently pushed Addison down on the ground so that the others couldnt see. Now they were both lying on the floor kissing. I think that she was scared to see my reaction. So I decided to post early today! I REALLY LIKE THIS CHAPTER! I hope you guys like it! ____________________ ________Addison's POV: It was 5:55...I had five more minutes. I had butterflies in my stomach already. I got out my guitar and put it on my bed. Just seeing is lying there made me evern more nervous. I was going to sing a song for Nick...Nick Jonas the amazing singer and song writer. But to me he wasn't the famous Nick Jonas of the Jonas Brothers...he was just Nick, my best friend who happened to be famous. I looked at the clock, it was 5:56. Tristan passed by my room.Tristan: good luck.I told him thank you and gave him a hug and then he left, leaving me waiting again. I looked at the clock...it was 5:57. I heard a car pull into the Jonas' driveway and rushed to the window to see. I saw Nick practically run inside the house and into his room. He plopped down on his bed and looked at his phone. I wondered if he was debating whether or not to call me. I knew that it was now or never, so I got my guitar and went over to my window.Regular POV:Addison went over to the window and opened it. She started strumming her guitar, and then she began the instrumental part of her song. In his room, Nick heard someone playing the guitar. He lifted himself off of the bed and stood up. He looked out his window and saw Addison playing the guitar. He was surprised because he didn't know that she could play. He opened his window and Addison smiled at him. It was finally time for him to go home. Mr. and Mrs. Jonas signed the final papers for the hospital and then they were free to go. They all loaded in the car and started driving home.Frankie: is Addison coming over tonight Nick? I havent seen my girlfriend since yesterday.Nick: FRANKIE! She is NOT your girlfriend!Frankie: dont be jealous Nick.Nick: Frankie if you say that one more time Im gonna-Mrs. J: boys, stop fighting over Addison. Frankie: there is no fight mom, I won.Joe and Kevin erupted in laughter in the backseat at Frankies comment. Nick just crossed his arms in anger.Mrs. J: why is this bothering you so much Nicholas?Joe and Kevin both turned toward Nick to see what he would say. He was still lying in his hospital bed waiting for the doctor when Joe and Kevin came in.Joe: hey dude, what are you doing?Nick: oh you know, just laying around. Joe: oh...sorry, I guess that is all you can do right now.Kevin: at least you get to come home tonight. Is Addison coming over to see you?Nick: yeah, she is (his face lit up).Joe: that was an awfully big smile Nick...Kevin: Remember, Addison has a boyfriend.Nick: (still smiling) maybe...but it doesn't change the way that I feel.Joe: what are you planning on doing tonight? Are you going to try and woo your best friend?Nick: what if I am?Kevin: were going to help you, duh!Nick: I think tonight I'm just going to be with her, you know? She hadnt seen it since he had went on tour, mostly because she didn't want anything that reminded her of Nick that much. She grabbed a pair of jeans and put on the shirt. It was perfect. She went back into her bathroom and curled her hair and did her makeup. Then she looked at the clock...it was 5:30. Only thirty more minutes until she would say something that would change her life forever.____________ _________________Aww w Nick is so sweet! She was up late the night before and she didn't know how late she had slept in. She rolled over and looked at the clock. It was already 2:00! She jumped out of bed and ran downstairs to see her parents.Addison: MOM! DAD! (She screamed trying to find them) when are the Jonas' coming home?Mrs. Grace walked into the living room where Addison was.Mrs. G: calm down honey. They will be home at six.Addison let out a sigh of relief, she still had time to prepare for her big confession. She ran back up the stairs and ran into her father on the way. He steadied her by grabbing on to her shoulders.Mr. G: wow, what's wrong Addison?Addison: everything is perfect now. I probaly didn't deserve that after the way I led him on, but I didn't do it on purpose...it just happened. The only thing I had left to do was tell Nick how I felt...which I knew would be really hard. But he was my best friend, my world, and maybe after tomorrow...my love. I needed some guidance, so I called Lola. She answered and said hello."Hey" I said.Lola: What's wrong?"I broke up with Tristan." I said.Lola: (she took in a deep breath) NO WAY! NOW YOU CAN TELL NICK HOW YOU FEEL!We both laughed and then I spoke again, "Do you think that he really likes me?"Lola: no...I think he really loves you."I hope that he likes my song." He isnt moving...what are we going to do? Everyone is freaking out! What if I lose Nick? I cant lose him!Mrs. J: DID SOMEONE CALL THE AMBULANCE?! Mr. G: I DID! Addison knelt on the ground beside Nick and held his head in her lap. She was crying, and a single tear fell into Nick's hair. About twenty seconds later, the ambulance came and they put Nick onto a stretcher. Everyone was speechless and didn't know what to do.Ambulance driver: whos riding with him?Mr. J: I dont think that my wife can...she is too upset. Mr. G: Addison can, she will take good care of him.Mrs. J: PLEASE ADDISON! Will you ride with Nicholas? I cant (she cried hysterically)Addison shook her head "yes" and climbed into the back of the ambulance with Nick. She took his hand and started crying again. Addison: Nick...please be okay. I NEED you. Please...She rode the rest of the time with her head resting against Nicks hand. Finally they arrived at the hospital. He wanted to look perfect tonight, but he couldn't find anything that he thought Addison would like. He already had on his jeans; all he needed was this "perfect shirt". He threw another shirt to the ground and kept looking through his closet. Ever since the night before, he couldn't get Addison out of his mind. The kiss had been life changing, and he wondered if she had felt that too. *With Addison*Addison turned the knob on the door and walked into Nick's room. This was the first time that Addison had felt nervous going into his room. She scanned the room and when she saw Nick she drew in a breath, because her perfect Nick was shirtless. Addison's thought: OMG! He is so perfect. Is it even legal to be that perfect? I should have knocked before I came in. Now this is going to be awkward.Nick turned around and saw Addison standing in the doorway, stunned and surprised. At first he couldn't understand why she was blushing, but then he looked down and noticed that he still didn't have a shirt on.Nick's thoughts: She is blushing...does that mean that she likes me? (She asked wondering if Addison had sung the song for him yet)Nick: (confused) no...Lola: oh...well, wheres Joe?Joe came up behind Nick with a ribbon tied around his neck.Joe: Merry Christmas. I can't believe that I am already on chapter 50! I didn't think that I could ever write that many. I hope you guys have enjoyed the story so far and will continue too! :)__________________ ___________Joe, Kevin, Nick and Lola all got into Kevin's car, while Addison and Tristan got into their car. Addison felt like she owed Tristan an explanation for the stuff that went on with Nick. So when she was buckled and they had started driving, she started talking.Addison: Tristan I am so sorry about that, I-Tristan: Addison, its okay. I'm not angry at all. (He let out a small laugh) I know that Nick is your friend and that that kiss didn't mean anything.Addisons thoughts: You're wrong...that kiss meant everything.Addison: right (she lied)... I'm glad that you're not upset.Tristan: I could never be upset at you.Addison's thoughts: he always knows exactly what to say and what I need to hear.They arrived home and went inside. They both went straight to bed because they were so tired. But Addison couldn't sleep; she had too much on her mind. She got up and went over to her closet. Inside was a guitar that she had learned to play when Nick had left to go on tour. Even though she wouldn't admit it, she had only learned it because she thought it would keep her connected to Nick in some weird way. No one knew that she played, not even Lola.Addison got out the sparkly guitar (A.N. Like Taylor Swift's in her Our Song video) and a notebook. She sat down on her bed and without giving it a second thought, she wrote a song that said everything she felt. With a clearer head she was able to fall asleep. Second Chapter of the night! Read and comment! :)__________________ _________*Three weeks later*It was Christmas and everyone was going to a party that the Jonas Brothers were throwing at a local hotel. They had invited all of the big celebrities and everyone was super excited about the party. Addison's POV:It was Christmas Eve and I had a boyfriend. No, it was not Nick... It was Tristan. (A.N. :( I know that it is really sad) It happened a week earlier when he had asked me out. I didn't know how I felt. I loved Nick...but Tristan was so nice and kind. I put on my party dress (A.N. The one that she is wearing in the video) and then I went downstairs to find Tristan talking to my mother. My mother loved Tristan; she said that he was sweet. From the top I saw Tristan go over to my father and start to talk business, they did that a lot. Tristan looked up and saw me. He walked over to the stairs and took my hand.Regular POV:Tristan: you look beautiful tonight.Addison: thank you.Tristan: are you ready to go?Addison: yeah, I'm ready.Tristan opened up Addison's door and then he told her how beautiful that she was yet again. Tristan drove to the hotel where the party was then they both walked inside. Addison really wanted to find Nick. Tristan went to get them some drinks and Addison finally found Nick sitting at a booth.Addison: Nick! (She went over and hugged him)Nick: hey Addie.Nick's thoughts:She looks so beautiful tonight. I can't believe that she is going out with Tristan. I knew that he liked her ever since I met him. Nick was left at the table, sad and alone, missing the girl that he knew should be his.Addison looked over at the booth and saw Nick looking depressed. She was worried about Nick. And honestly, she wasn't sure about Tristan. He was perfect...but he wasn't Nick. She didn't feel electricity when they touched or when they kissed, nothing like when she kissed Nick.Tristan: what's wrong?Addison: nothing... (she faked a smile)The party started to die down after a while. Addison and Tristan finished dancing and then they went back to meet everyone in the hotel lobby. They were all waiting on them and when they got there they headed out the doors. Nick grabbed Addison's hand.Nick: I need to tell Addison something...can you guys leave us alone for a minute?Tristan: sure...I'll go get the car Addie. Tristan gave Addison a kiss on the lips and Nick looked away because he couldn't bear to watch. Everyone then left them alone. They all walked outside under the awning on the other side of the parking lot, since it was raining.Addison: what did you want to tell me?Nick: it is kind of silly...but I wanted to give you this. Nick handed Addison a box and she opened it. Inside was a thread friendship bracelet like the one that he had given her when they were eight. Addison: Nick...(her face lit up) I love it.Nick: I'm glad...it means a lot to me that you like it.They both walked outside and the rain was pouring down on them. Without noticing it they stopped directly under the mistletoe.Joe: KISS HER NICK! (He yelled from across the parking lot)Kevin: you have to; you're both under the mistletoe!Lola: they're right...it is a holiday tradition!Nick and Addison blushed and then Nick took Addison's hands and kissed her softly on the lips. Addison was surprised; she didn't actually think that Nick would kiss her. She had forgotten how wonderful it felt to kiss Nick. Nick pulled away and they both ran to the car. Addison was more confused than ever and didn't know where her heart truly was. On the other hand, Nick was surer than ever that he had to have Addison. She was his and he was determined to show her that she belonged with him. ____________________ __________Will a kiss with Nick in the rain make Addison realize where her heart really is? Upstairs now!Nick: so I'm your horse now?Addison: yep.Nick just laughed and he carried her up the stairs and into her room. He ran over to her bed and slung her on it. Then he put jumped on top of her and held his weight up with his hands. He just looked at her and smiled.Addison: my horse is crushing me...Nick: very funny.Addison: Nick...Nick: yeah?Addison: do you think that you could get off of me? (She laughed)Nick: I don't know...I'm pretty comfortable.Addison: NICK! (She laughed)Just then her door opened and Tristan walked in. He didn't notice Addison and Nick.Tristan: Addison do you think I could borrow your- (He looked up and saw Nick on top of Addison) Nick rolled off of Addison and she ran over to Tristan. Addison: hey, this is my friend Nick. Nick this is a foreign exchange student that is staying with us, Tristan.Nick looked confused and then he went over to Tristan. He looked at Addison.Nick: I didn't know that you had someone staying with you.Addison: I didn't either until two days ago.Tristan: It's nice to meet you Nick; Addison has told me tons about her best friend. (He smiled and shook Nicks hand)Nick's thoughts:Is it just me or did he say that to antagonize me? I think that he likes Addison. No, I know that he does. Why else would he have said "best friend" like that? Addison won't stop looking at him! Does she like him too? I thought that after we made up that we could be...I don't know...more than friends. What am I going to do?_________________ _______So Nick is freaking about about Tristan. Does that mean the Tristan really does like her? If so, does she like him back? Why does something always stand in the way of them being together?

She could see that Addison was happy, and that made her happy. Before much longer they were home. Lola dropped Addison off at her house and then drove on to hers. Addison walked into the living room and saw her parents.Addison: I'm back.Mrs. G: We need to tell you something...Addison: Can you tell me in a minute? I really need to put these bags in my room.Without waiting for an answer Addison ran up to her room and threw open the door. Without looking she put her bags on the bed and then turned around to see someone sitting at her computer desk. The person was just watching her. Addison was startled and shocked.Addison: who are you? (She stuttered)???: I'm Tristan. (He said in a very sexy Australian accent)Addison: why are you in my room?Tristan: you're parents didn't tell you? (Addison shook her head "no") I'm a foreign exchange student. I am going to be staying with your family for a while.Addison: what? Really?Tristan: (laughed) yes...but don't worry, I won't bother you. Addison: (She paused for a minute) well this is interesting. I'm going to go talk to my parents...I'll be right back.Addison walked downstairs and stood in front of her parents, unable to speak. They both looked at each other and tried to decide what to say.Mrs. G: I'm guessing you met Tristan.Addison: why didn't you guys tell me?Mrs. G: honestly, we had forgotten until he came. But now he is with us for a month and he is quite charming. Maybe you two could date or something...Addison: MOM!Mr. G: just be nice to him Addison dear. He is new to this country and he really was looking forward to meeting you.Addison: I think he's nice; it was just a surprise... that's all.Mrs. G: Go talk to him honey.Addison: I don't know...Mr. G: Addison...Addison: fine.Addison walked back upstairs and found Tristan looking at the pictures that she had framed. They were all of her and Nick. He noticed that she walked in and turned around with a picture of her and Nick in his hands of when they were Romeo and Juliet.Tristan: Is this your boyfriend? (He held up the picture)Addison: no...Tristan: you don't sound too convincing. (He smiled)Addison: that's my best friend...Nick.Trista n: you two look really close.Addison: we are...Tristan put the picture down and sat on Addison's bed. She went over and sat in the computer chair across from him. Tristan smiled at Addison. Tristan was gorgeous. He had sandy blond hair; had green eyes, he was tan, muscular, and had an amazing smile. Tristan: so when do I get to meet your "friend" (He said the word friend with air quotations.)Addison: in a couple of days. Tristan: will I like him?Addison: I don't know you, so I don't know if you'll like him. (She pauses) But I know that he is the most perfect person in the world. He is amazing and even though he has made a lot of mistakes in the past, he is still an UN believable friend and I couldn't imagine my life without him.Tristan: wow...Addison: what?Tristan: (laughed) nothing...enough about this Nick fellow. Tell me about you.Addison: what do you want to know?Tristan: everything.Tristan and Addison talked for the next three hours and then they both went to bed. Addison was surprised by how sweet and charming Tristan turned out to be and even more surprised that he was staying with her family...___________ _______________I bet you guys weren't expecting that! Well...will Tristan get in the way of Addison and Nick's budding relationship? Will Tristan and Addison get closer and possibly go out? Only time will tell...
